The 400^th anniversary of this epoch-defining masterwork is celebrated in concert on Saturday evening in San Francisco, followed on Sunday by the singular opportunity to hear this work in the liturgical context of the office of Vespers on Sunday afternoon at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Oakland.

A stellar vocal and instrumental ensemble, with chant portions sung by the boy trebles of Chapel College Men and Boys Ensemble, and under the direction of accomplished Baroque interpreter Christopher Kula, make this a series of performances that you will not want to miss.
